Short Description:

Business System Analyst 4 to support DOC implementation of Electronic Health Records (EHR) solution. Must possess clinical healthcare experience and knowledge of business systems analysis industry best practices.

Complete Description:

Electronic Health Records (EHR) Business System Analyst 4 to perform the following:
Supports the EHR program. Possesses experience within a Clinical/Health/Bio-Tech environment.
Has familiarity with HL7 and its family of standards including Version 2 (V2), Clinical Document Architecture (CDA), and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR).
Supports the Health IT Unit in the implementation of the EHR solution.

Collaborates with clinical staff and IT leaders to translate clinician requirements into specifications for the EHR solution.
Defines Health IT requirements for clinical disciplines aligned with strategic plans.
Provides analysis on clinical processes, workflows, and artifacts.
Contributes to implementation, architecture, planning, requirement definition, systems design and testing, implementation, support, and administration.

Implements downtime readiness and internal system reporting.
Ensures compliance with VITA project management standards and procedures.

Skills & Experience:

• Requirements Elicitation/Documentation/Analysis/Tracking: Required – 4 Years
• Systems/Integration/UAT Testing (planning, execution, resolution, reporting): Required – 4 Years
• Process/Workflow Engineering/Analysis (Visio, Use Case, Policy Analysis): Required – 4 Years
• Large System Implementation – Complex Solutions & Integrations: Required – 3 Years
• MS Office / 365: Required – 4 Years
• Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Required – 4 Years
• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication: Required – 4 Years
• Leading Workgroups: Highly Desired – 3 Years
• Health System Experience (HIPAA, clinical settings): Highly Desired – 3 Years
• Experience with VITA Project Standards: Highly Desired – 2 Years
• Schedule/Milestone/Metric Definition: Highly Desired – 3 Years
